Studio Borges Project: Now at Fluminense, Douglas Costa will live with his wife and daughter in their penthouse in Rio
Douglas Costa’s luxury penthouse in Rio has been closed for most of the last few years. The property is located in a condominium in Barra da Tijuca, in Rio’s West Zone, and has always been the player’s address in the city. But with his move to the United States, where he played for LA Galaxy for two years, the place was left without its residents.
The penthouse has just been remodelled by Studio Borges to accommodate the new Fluminense player, his wife and the couple’s first child. The property will be occupied after the birth of the baby girl, due at the end of the month. Nathália Felix will give birth in Miami, USA, and only then return to Brazil. One of the rooms in the penthouse, which used to house the couple’s guests, was remodelled and transformed into a bedroom for Gabriela, the couple’s first child. Nathália herself showed the before and after of the renovation (image below).
Douglas Costa’s penthouse has two floors and a swimming pool on the top floor, with a beautiful view of the mountains surrounding the neighbourhood. The décor is also eye-catching, especially because of the giant chandeliers and the many mirrors scattered around the rooms.
